According to the latest resale levy policy:
?As announced on 3 March 2006, the resale levy is now set at a fixed amount of between $15,000 and $50,000, based on the flat type of the 1st subsidised flat.?
HDB has already made a profit by selling Singaporeans flats at inflated prices. And now they even want to ?profit? from the resale of the flats !

Public owned properties like the hdb discourage any profit gain from transactions. Reason is with the subsidies to make a house most affordable to common pple, pple shouldn't take advantage and sell for a profit.

If wanna make money go to private properties, tats why so many policies popped up to deter pple from making gains on hdb transactions. Think i better get a 4 rm can liao.
