I just checked my Singtel 2 years contract bill that just ended. Was paying $77.90 per month (exclude gst).

Switching over to any of the no contract cheapo ones these days will save so much more even though I don’t enjoy rebates off new phones.

Gomo is $20 per month, and actually provides more data, sms and talk time than my contract plan. What a joke !

Giga from starhub is even better.

Don't sign any 2 years plan just to get a phone at a cheaper price. Buy a Xiaomi phone for $200+ which is quite good already. Then take up a $30 SIM only plan. That will give u at least 20GB of data and 350 mins of talk time and 500 SMS every month. Which is more than enough for me. Every month, I still have 6GB of unused data, 30 mins of unused talk time, and 400 unused SMS.

The trick is to get a cheapo no contract plan for $20.

when a new phone launches, wait 3 months, sure drop price by at least 15%. Use the savings to buy that phone.

Sgd20 with good data limit and talk voice call time is good enough.

Oversea roaming can add on buy only when necessary and not fixed monthly.

2019 dec i just went to M1 change (dont even have to go singtel q up), now pay $25 pm, never looked back, same as mio tv epl
