from an overview, problem with that for the market is that it takes some time for the supply changes to flow through to the end prices. A lot of people can get burned with such huge fluctuations in supply.

if COE crashed, Taxi and Grab will come-in to bid at higher price to support (Temasak has one leg or one arm in Taxi and Grab)
therefore only one chance to get a low COE but than that is if all bit at low price,if one or more think otherwise this low COE bids may not be that low....
