For these PAP elite cheebye, $10k is sup sup soey. Average sinkie has no $10K to spare, but she can easily produce it. Better to give it directly to the family of the victim she killed. They need it more than the charity. The lawyer can say she will donate to charity, but when she donate and which charity, no ones knows, right?
Charity of PAP cum Temasek.
Since Ho Ching loses billions in her investments in the past, every little bit counts, so better donate the $10K to the government investment funds.
Alamak, GIC is not a charity mah. Its a PAP piggy bank.
This piggy bank was dug empty by Ho Jinx for her stupid long term investments...
Smearer,
It's not the end of her woes. The deceased's family has already began legal proceeding in a civil court for insurance claims.
Although it may not be directly from her pocket, she will still have to live with the thought that she has taken a life and that justice was not dealt for her thoughtless and reckless act.
Hopefully she is superstitious and would be haunted for smiling at the first judgment and being relieved at the appeal verdict.
Cheers,
MM

ooi bro.. where have u been..
the 888 series running amock u know..
The lau chee bye is a Sin Ming Editor leh, she may have threatened WKS or LHL or LKY to let her off lightly or else she will spill the beans on lots of shit that she helped cover from the public eyes...
Think sia, she must have accumalated plenty of secrets about shady doings of the PAPs... and that PAP give her face to help lighten her punishment...
There is no justice sia here!
The ongoing online petition from various forums will add pressure to the kangaroo judges on their verdict of this case, but weighing the consequences of antagonising the lau chee bye against antagonising the masses, I guess the kangaroos will still insist that they are right and protect the lau chee bye...
So much for having a just court sia...
Fucking lao chee bye!!!

hey guys,
dont think that the bitch is free from trouble.
she may escape just one -day jail but one day in the jail will haunt her forever.
the dead does have a soul, and will find ways to take her along becos the verdict does not equal her dangerous driving.
she will not live in peace especially during her sleep.
The victim's family hopefully goes to the accident scene once again to pray for divine justice.
How would a Kangaroo court judge deal with me if I were to drive in an inconsiderate manner and run over his mother, killing her?

The editor of a Chinese newspaper faces a mandatory jail term for reckless driving after she seriously injured a motorcycle rider and killed his pillion rider in an accident.
Yesterday, Lim Hong Eng, the executive editor of Shih Min Daily News, was convicted of dangerous driving in the December 2006 crash.
Lim, 56, potentially faces up to five years jail for causing the death of Indonesian maid Melania Melaniawati, 24, who was riding pillion.
For severely injuring the maid's employer David Jermais Pattiselanno, Lim could get an additional two years' imprisonment, or a fine of up to $1,000, or both.
Lim's lawyers, Subhas Anandan and Sunil Sudheesan, will present her mitigation plea next Tuesday. She is also likely to be sentenced on the same day.
The accident
On Christmas Eve in 2006, at the junction of Whitley Road and Dunearn Road, Lim's car crashed into Mr Pattiselanno's motorcycle.
Mr Pattiselanno, 70, had stopped along Dunearn Road at the red lights. The lights then changed in his favour. As he moved off, he was hit by Lim's Toyota Wish multi-purpose vehicle.
The strength of the impact threw him off his motorcycle. He suffered a broken leg. He continues to use crutches today.
No proper lookout
In his closing submissions, Deputy Public Prosecuter Ng Der Lim said the fact that Lim was unaware that she had run a red light and was on a collision course with a motorcycle indicated clearly her failure to keep a proper lookout.
Earlier, a witness testified that she saw Lim with her left hand to the side of her face, and that Lim was holding her cellphone when she emerged from her car after the crash to make a call.
The witness called the police at 3.48 pm. In addition, telephone records reflected that Lim made a call to her son at home around the same time.
In her defence, Lim denied beating the red lights or using her cellphone while driving.
She also denied being in a hurry, but DPP Ng noted that Lim told the court she has a spa appointment at Raffles Town Club at 3.45 pm and was likely to have been concerned about being late.
This bitch will sleep fine, u must have no soul and conscience to work as editor. The only nightmare she will get is from her gang rape in the Changi WOmen's Prison by other dyke inmates.
MM, these kind of elites have no conscience. She had to have sold her conscience in order to work for Shin Ming as an Editor. PArt of her job is to censor her reporters, and screen information that is harmful to the PAP and only publish favourable articles about them. These kind of people have sold their souls for gold, do not expect her to have any kind of remorse. By the way, I can already tell u the outcome of the deceased family's legal proceedings. Its not going to go as well for them as Ms. Lim's trial went.
Let's see if the PAP bootlicker who is now handsomely rewarded with the position of AG, Walter Woon, gets off his fat arse and seeks a retrial since the judge has erred seriously in his judgment to the point of absurdity.
You are talking about SG's courts. This ranks low on the level of absurdity. Remember "Plainly, a person inside a polling station cannot be said to be within a radius of 200 metres of a polling station."?
Smearer,
You are right, it seems that she doesn't have a conscience and her blatant lying, although not proven with witness testimony, shows that she has no remorse too for what had happened. Clearly telephone records and her state of mind showed the extent of her recklessness.
Let's see if AG Walter Woon will act, if not this is clearly a case of miscarriage of justice which ironically Lim's defence counsel raised in his paper written for the ACLS, in which he openly claimed that there is seemingly a disparity in sentencing or rather allowing of compounding of offences for the rich and the elite in comparison with the average Sgean.
