The three women who had requested for sexual favours from the former chief of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) have been named in various reports. However, their identities have not been confirmed yet.

According to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB), Peter Benedict Lim Sin Pang is charged with corruptly obtaining sexual gratification on a total of ten occasions from two female vendors and one potential female vendor to the SCDF in return for tenders on IT-related contracts.

If found guilty, the three women may also be charged. According to Lianhe Wanbao, lawyer Amolat Singh said that the women involved have also broken the law, and are likely to be charged. They face either a fine of up to $100,000 or a maximum jail term of five years, or both.

Lim has not made any plea yet. If he pleads guilty, he is likely to only face three charges, according to reports. The other seven charges will be taken into consideration during his sentencing.

The three charges are for accepting sexual offers on May 2, 2010 with Pang Chor Mui; on October 18 to 21,2011 with Lee Wei Hoon; and on April 20, 2011 with Esther Goh Tok Mui.

The next hearing will take place on July 5.



Alleged female 1: Pang Chor Mui

According to Lianhe Wanbao reports, Lim knew Ms Pang before she joined Nimrod Engineering about seven years ago. She did not show up to work Wednesday according to reports. Her company spokesman said that while Nimrod Engineering is assisting police with investigations, no one has been charged yet.



Alleged female 2: Lee Wei Hoon

Position: Director at Singapore Radiation Centre

Marital status: Married in 1997

Age: 40 plus

5) Allegedly had sex with Lim at an apartment in Clementi between Sep 3 to 6, 2011.

6) Allegedly had sex with Lim at an apartment in Clementi on Sep 17, 2011.

7) Allegedly had sex with Lim at an apartment in Clementi on Nov 13, 2011.

Woman in sex corruption case was 'naive and simple'

SINGAPORE - Much speculation has been brewing over the backgrounds of the three women embroiled in the sex corruption case involving former Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) chief Peter Lim Sin Pang.

However, other than their names and companies, little else is know about them. It is known that two of them are in their 40s and married, and all three held senior positions in their companies.

Checks by the media reveal scanty information as all three have gone into hiding. Ms Pang Chor Mui, a general manager at Nimrod Engineering, and Ms Lee Wei Hoon, a director at Singapore Radiation Centre are still working at their respective companies.

However, Ms Pang has been on leave for about a month so far till an unknown date, while Ms Lee has not been spotted at SRC's office premises.

A Nimrod spokesperson told ST that the company is not involved in the matter and that their employees have been advised not to comment on the case.

SRC has been maintaining that all their top management executives are "out of town".

Miss Esther Goh Tok Mui, who is unmarried, is no longer working at NCS, the company she was working for at the time of the alleged sexual trysts.

In an interview with The New Paper (TNP), Ms Pang's husband described his wife as a naive and simple woman, who had never been a loose woman.

Ms Pang allegedly had oral sex with Lim in May 2010, at a car park near the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

He admitted that he had strayed before, and that his wife had asked for divorce after she found out about his infidelity.

Neighbours say Mr Pang hardly returns home and they heard the couple quarrelling in their condominium unit in Villa Marina, Siglap about six weeks ago.

The couple have a teenaged son.

Her co-workers agreed that Ms Pang is a "simple" woman. They added that she is friendly, but prefers to keep a low profile.

An unnamed colleague interviewed by ST said that all her colleagues are surprised that Ms Pang was involved in the case.

They described her as a decent-looking woman who does not wear a lot of make-up to work.

A neighbour of Ms Lee told ST that she lives in the Teck Whye estate HDB flat with her husband and her son.

All outstanding tenders that involve Lim have been suspended and two contracts signed with NCS and Nimrod are currently under review by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

MHA said that the people believed to be involved in the case are no longer servicing the SCDF accounts.
