I agree with it. I am property agent in JB. Among all the other area, the highest appreciation of the property is horizon hills. There is a lot of buyer looking for the place because of environment and convenient.
 
If for investment purpose, i think HH better than Kulai.
Based on history records, the HH ROI more than 70%.

For own staying, Kulai area also not bad. Because a lot of chinese Hakka stay there and got a lot of nice food to eat.

Though personally vested in HH, I think the heady days of 20-30% growth per year is over. Of course, I hope and can see it's continuous appreciation. In a way, like the Singapore real estate scene in the last year, investments do not come with astronomical returns.

I am intrigued by the Malaysian property scene and still learning.

Like in the case of Petaling Jaya, some of my kakis bought some condo units at RM 200+ psf 3 years ago. Today, it stands at RM 700+. It is near Damansara Heights.

There will be more gems like that I am certain.

Think the next big thing is leisure farm. The new access road from the highway which will bring you right to the entrance of the resort in 5 mins from the CIQ is fast taking shape. The new complex comprising of tennis courts, Olympic size swimming pool, restaurants, chalets inside the resort will be ready by 2014. Poressia golf course in the resort is getting new turf and new clubhouse. With so many well known people including a couple of tycoons and politicians living there many will make a beeline for leisure farm by next year. By being at the fringe of gerbang nusajaya where peter lim auto city, the huge china mall and the ascenda business park are, this is the property to watch in the coming months.

Damansara heights is considered one of the better/atas areas closer to KL. It is just next to Mt Kiara/Sri Hartamas areas. Sure "wong" one ;)
This area got high profile people living there...just like Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI). Some other new development (condo) areas much further away already hit this psf figure.
Not surprised it hit RM700+.

I think the timing of the last friday's cooling measures helped convince some ppl to go ahead in Iskandar. Probably contributed to this.

Before this cooling measure. To get the newly launches from horizon hills direct from developer was not easy too. One need to submit a cheque before official launch. For popular units, there were more than 1 buyer .
 
Horozon Hills' brand name and beautiful landscape should see more investors' interests in the years ahead :)
 
3-4 years ago which was the starting of subprime crisis. I believe she got in at the low point.

The property for launch is 2 storey and 3 storey cluster homes, price from RM1,151,800.00 onwards.
