Many irresponsible parents who are fond of complaining and spoling their brats will face the same situation one day with their poorly brought up children. Slightest reprimand and punishment from school teachers are NOT accepted by these parents , they will just go on the offensive and complain till teachers give up and some even leave the profession for good. When you have good teachers who try to educate and guide these youngsters as they grow up , bad parents tey to be too smart , interferring and complaining till teachers give up the idea of punishing and guiding these young to be gangsters.
As a result we have many badly brought up youngsters who are NOT afraid of anything , carrying choppers and dangerous weapons to attack innocent members of the public. Have they ever thought of the pain involved in the bereaved family when they attack and chop up another person? What if they siblings or they parents are chopped up? They probably wont feel the pain because of their up bringing. Even if there is staring , does it warrant being hacked to death? These are the real "terrorists" in the making , Singapore is a safe haven , we are against such home grown "terrorists" in a peaceful environment.
It's time that changes are made to our educational system and more awareness to the public that any form of violence will be met with the FULL force of the law . Constant reminders and warning eithing on TV or News media to serve as reminders to the would be offender/parents that laws are in place and they should avoid being caught for violating others.
It is very sad that a young life is lost through such a trivial matter , I wish the "Terrorists" will NOT be hanged , instead they should remain in life imprisonment till death to remind them of their evil act . This is the best punishment to them instead of a quick death in the gallows. Let their parents go through the same "punishment" be enduring the next 20 to 40 years visiting their terror kids in jail and let them feel the pain.
Wondering if these murderers are human or "devils" or eventually nurtured by their parents to become devils ? To be uncouth , they are no difference from bastards ! Born without parents to lead and guide them in life. I doubt there is reformative training that will help them , they should be given hard work and daily tough life in isolated prison cells to let them taste pain . Imagine the pain inflicted on this young life when the choppers came down on him , as he ran he must have very brave to bear the pain to fight for his life.
