Honda said repair cost will me minimum 750k baht to 900k and after that no guarantee car same as before. Also insurance covered repair cost max 700k the rest she pay. Insurance advised her to scrap and insurance will pay her 1.05mil baht. She scraped it. Used the 1.05m for a new car. I thought it was a good trade off.

if car flipped upside down it's considered a total as chassis frame for driver and passenger compartment cannot be guaranteed to be safe anymore. moreover, fluid containers and plumbing are compromised and very hard to diagnose and repair. in u.s. if car is stolen it's considered a total loss or "salvage" even though it may be in good condition. nobody knows what has been compromised upon recovery. 900k baht is too much for repairs. can buy a brand new honda accord in u.s. she made the right choice. and btw, it's scrapped not scraped. if scraped, they are just scratches. :p

Just take back the COE remaining value.

my uncle say KNN some sinkies are willing to spend alot of money to repair car body then their own body KNN
he say he know of at least 1 loser who is willing to spend close to 1k for his car minor repair, maintenance and grooming and same time the loser has a pile that is as big as a billard ball but prefer to buy ointment and rub for recovery than to visit a rectal doctor KNN

Yes of course the proper way is to scrap the car instead of repairing it. Die die also must scrap. Only idiots will want to repair. A repaired vehicle is also worth less. What a dumb suggestion to ask for repair.

Wasn’t a suggestion really more like telling her what are her options obviously she scrapped the Accord in exchange for
