Hokkien hero Tan Kah Kee started Xiamen university in China in 1921.
Xiamen university is one of top 39 universities in China now and the only one among the 39 universities that was started by private (now state owned).
Everything that hokkien heroes did are first and only indeed. Where are the other Chinese?
