Hokkien and Teochew cities are known for being cultural and civilized

Coastal Teochew (Guangdong Chaoshan) and Hokkien cities Fuzhou, Putian, Quanzhou etc are well known for being seaside advanced cultural and civilized cities in the old days.
Hokkiens and Teochew cities are famous cultural cities in Jiangnan. Known as Jiangnan zoulu.
Zoulu meaning is derived from country names of Kongzi and Mengzi. Kongzi from Lu country and Mengzhi from Zou country during the warring state period. So people use Zoulu to mean cultured and civilized places.
The term 海滨邹鲁 was first used in a Song Dynasty poem to refer to Teochew city Chaoshan (located in Guangdong province). It was later extended to refer in general to include other cultural and civilized coastal cities like Hokkien province Putian, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, Fuzhou etc.
So are you Teochew or Hokkien? Maybe you are a fugging Hakka in disguise! Lol
