Sensitive papers concerning the internal operations of banks are also expected to be revealed now that the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong has decided to back the resolution in Legco today that will empower a subcommittee to investigate.
Last night the DAB decided that its nine legislators would vote in favour of the resolution to invoke the Legislative Council (Powers and Privileges) Ordinance, to empower the subcommittee investigating the circumstances leading to small investors losing money in Lehman Brothers-related investments.
