All this simply means you cannot comprehend how Allah hears and sees and use his hand. What is his form. Nor his dimensions, if any. It is beyond our ability to imagine. And of course Allah has to describe himself in terms that we can relate to.

I love it, that you asked this question. I'll try to make it short.
First, the Hadith, it is put against the furqan, the original, the perfection, the incorruptible, the words of Allah itself, the Quran.
We look for the slightest contradiction, the tiniest errors.
Then, who was the person who witnessed it, conveyed it, to whom it was passed on to, and on and on. When did all this witness saw it. When and where did the chain of narrations happened. It all is crossed referenced to dates, time and places. Was any one in those chains ever caught lying?
Was there other witnesses to what the prophet spoke. That chain is also investigated and compared.
Even a few words of what the prophet was quoted goes missing, all will not get the seal of authenticity. Or we call it Sahih.
Those that are found patently fabricated are called maudu' or fake.
The rest falls in between.
Imagine the mountain of information and books and memory and people that needs to be trawled to come to this conclusion! Do that in the d days without a computer and it'll take you lifetimes to finish.

Go find out the context of that hadith. There is a well known Hadith of a companion that accepted Islam but then left. The prophet did not kill him but upon his capture fighting the Muslims is war, he was executed.
So leave Islam but don't be our enemy. Live your life peacefully and don't try to corrupt the society.
