First, the Hadith, it is put against the furqan, the original, the perfection, the incorruptible, the words of Allah itself, the Quran.
We look for the slightest contradiction, the tiniest errors.

This is so easy to explain. The Quran supercedes any hadiths. Hadiths that contradicts the Quran is put aside.

It's actually difficult to explain. Your moslem scholars do not put aside hadiths that contradict the quran. Instead, they collectively agreed with the hadiths that apostates of islam should be murdered.

It's in countries like Singapore where PAP reformed islam to make it legal for muslims to renounce islam based on the quran instead of hadith.
