My sis must work to support them and he will not spend a cent on food , logging or education except renting a flat which he uses for his own selfish purpose whenever he needs sex.

He had all the national awards bestowed on him by the Ministers , he's very popular with them , they think he is an entrepreneur , charitable in nature and very very upright ,decent , to the extent of having similarities of Confucius BUT if they ever find out he is such a dirty old man who is so irresponsible , I dont know how they can take it.Though chinese educated , he interect well with these Ministers , golfing , attending trade missions , holidaying but neglected his kids out of wedlock.

I scolded my sis for continuing with him since he is so heartless but she refused to see the truth thinking that he will change his attitude and will be good to her and the kids oneday.

He's already 60 plus , if he does not acknowledge or provide tham with security , when he suddenly dies , my sis and her kids will suffer . She has to reveal the ugly truth to her family at his death and must go through alot of trouble before being recognised as his wife and kids which can cause embarrassment. But he never once thought about that , no will or insurance or security plans for them .

My friend, your sister is not alone.. Many honest people have fallen victims to these so-called grassroot leaders in the course of their dealing with them, though the nature of their sufferings may be different.

These so-called grassroot leaders now immerse themselves very well among the masses, rubbing shoulders with ministers / MPs, spending time and contributing their dirty money with a hope to redeem their sinful past.

The scum you are talking about obviously did not want to take responsibility and face the consequences of his action. This type of people are very selfish and are very mindful of their "face". Firstly, you should learn to paragraph your post. It really hard on the eyes.

Next, when he dies it is not really an issue, you sister may seek to get financial support from his estate, a simple paternity test should clear the way for her to make claims in the event of his death.

Illegitimate or otherwise, his children have a right to his estate albeit not a full share as Singapore courts tend not to afford such offspring with full rights.

So, the best is for your sister to come out in the open with all this and file a paternity suit and seek financial support. If she refuses then, there is very little else you can do except to wait until he dies before staking a claim on his estate.

I am sure things are really complicated and since you have chosen to write about it here it shows that you care a lot for your sister and since this is troubling you quite a bit then might I suggest you just nail him for what he is.

He may be powerful now, but when the PAP finds out what kind of lowlife he is they will all "SIAM" him for sure. The PAP takes pride in not having all these sort of problems within their cult. With the exception of Ministar of Law of course, he divorced his wife many years ago, but I am quite sure the reasons for it is not about infidelity.

As the saying goes, if you cannot keep your house in shape you cannot tell others what to do. The PAP subsrcribes to this strongly and as such the PAP will surely distance themselves from him especially if he is indeed such a scuzzball.

All you need to do is just tell your sister to go ahead and seek child support and if she refuses then you should go on a public campaign to name and shame him. I am also sure there will be lawyers who are more than willing to take up this sort of action, if cost is an issue, then some lawyers may try to work something out with her.
