In the event that the pap lose several seats, how do you think they will react?
a) have the graciousness to admit that some of their policies may be wrong or at least that the people have spoken and they will listen and try to help them and win back their trust.
b) threaten that there will be no more upgrading, asset prices will fall, loss of jobs, people will be worse off, life will be tough, etc.
My guess is (b). Based on what they have been doing all these years, threats, harsh words, insults, condescending and arrogant attitude, etc. This is what I dislike most about the pap, not so much their policies, not all of which are bad.
Will they ever learn?
Lee Bee Hwa: I know no apology.
Lim Swee Say: I am deaf to all criticisms
Liu Tuck Yew: Singaporean complains are just noises
Josephine Teo: They are just politics of envy
Lim Boon Heng: There is no groupthink in PAP *sob*
Vivian Balakrishnan: What do you want from me?
Lee Kuan Yew: People are chief grumblers
Lee Hsien Loong: We will cut down foreigners intake from 100,000 to 80,000 per annum
Gan Kim Yong: Break down of employment statistics is a secret
Goh Chok Tong: Why should I serve you if you are not loyal to Singapore
Tharman: There is no process of accountability, we work on basis of "TRUST".
Mah Bow Tan: Jumped in HDB prices caught me by surprise.
Yacob: I was freaked by the intense storm.
Khaw Boon Wan: Poor people can consider going to Johor Bahru for medical treatment
Teo Chee Hean: My salary is already pre-approved (by me) couple years back.
Tin Pei Lin: I don't know what to say *stomping her fee and shaking her upper cleavage*
This one took the cake
President Nathan : Why am I here
The above is what PAP called itself first world (and most expensive) government.
