Has this forum again changed the way you need to embed videos here?

just to share in picture format

you copy the link from youtube the https link.

You click on the embed video button

it comes out as a link instead



so you need to delete the "s" from https

and that's it

you go to edit your post the link doesn't show like this

[video]http://url of yt video[/video]

nothing wrong with this just that sometimes some people unaware of this might click on the quote post of an embedded video and try to copy the format which is more complicated than just removing the s before embedding the video.

That's it just showing some of you how the forum changes the wording once it's posted.




EDIT: i just tested it by embedding the https link on yt and it embeds now. so disregard my above posting but if you edit your post it changes the wording of the embed

settled on day 1 already, day 2 sam already changed the way the forum can now embed https links. I was giving a more in depth and detailed explaination that's all.

Thank you Leongsam thank you, I really cannot imagine life without you one day like I'm feeling so lost these few days with the demise of our great and benevolent leader.

Did you remove the s before you copied the link from youtube or after you have pasted in the forum?

If you have been doing the former, perhaps you can try the latter. Just a suggestion.

I'll say it again. It has been FIXED within vbulletin. You can now either include or exclude the "s". It makes no difference. Both will parse correctly.
