Toa Payoh is an interesting town, It can be split up into four quadrants, each with a distinct vibe. The southeast quadrant (Kim Keat) is the lowest SES, Whampoa to the south and Potong Pasir to the east. You will feel a mixture of disgust and sympathy when you are there.
