Has Singapore progressed at all ?

Watching the movie Saint Jack last night, the Singapore of the 70s was shown as a bordello full of criminals and prostitutes.

The Straits Times had reported that officials "were aghast at its portrayal of Singapore as a fleshpot of a country, rife with gangsters, pimps and prostitutes."

3 decades later, Singapore still looks the same.

There are always a handful of such pimps, gangsters and prostitutes around in every developed country. If you know of anyone on this, please do not hesitate to contact our great police force for them to take actions against these illegal acts. The people and the police should work together to suppress any unlawful and/or illegal acts in our great Singapore.

The PRIMARY ROLE of the PAP govt is to fix all opposition and 'buy' votes to ensure continued hold on power. The economy etc etc all run on autopilot (lower echelon civil servants) so that Perm Secs can take long holidays for overseas cooking lessons.
