Singaporeans are usually friendly people , we are brought up in a multiracial society and we get along well with each other. But this friendliness is fast eroding as could be seen on Internet forums with hatred shown on foreign Indians working here misbehaving and trying to bully the locals. They are mostly in high income jobs and became very arrogant thinking they are a higher caste being here. That annoys the ordinary Singaporean who works hard to earn a decent living. As I walk along Tanjong Katong road , Mountbatten , and the East coast after my dinner every evening , I observe there are many Indians with their children in these areas , they are snobbish and talk loudly behaving as though the roads belong to their grand fathers. On the five foot way , they walk as a group covering the whole FØO I’ve foot way instead of single file so others can walk along the same path. This is annoying ! On Tg Katong road there are a few massage shops and they are flooded with Indians , since there are so many inside the shops , I had to leave quickly for fear of being too close to them violating social distancing rules. During chattis with the masseuse , I was shocked to hear from her that these foreigners misbehalve themselves. During massage , they extend their hands on the Chinese ladies to touch their private parts and when told by them this is forbidden , they fish a $10 note from their pocket to offer the lady . When she turned him down , he will go to the reception counter to complain that her service is bad . Looks like they are flushed with cash with their wealth and they are trying to exploit these young ladies. As a local I felt disgusted with their behavior too. Perhaps, the police should be alerted with their amorous behaviors before someone is raped .
