Serious GST Voucher S$300/-, 2016 (28 July 2016 )

May i ask what is the GST voucher for? why do they called GST a voucher when it is a tax.

Yes last night I login multiple times the money still not in. Feeling bit impatient I went to bed. Wake up check holy shit is in. Now waiting for Nov payout $200.

Didnt know that there are 1.54 million poor adults in sgp.
Out of total population of 5.50 million including those below 21 yr old.

Last general election 2015, there were 2.46 million eligible voters vs current 1.54million eligible gst vouchers
Receipents. Meaning 62% ( close to 70%) are poor in sgp. Why like that ?
