Actually, Minister Tan See Leng should find a chance to talk to the Japanese management. I heard they gave up on Singapore was because of HR matters that were unfair to the Panasonic. Otherwise, Panasonic would love to stay in Singapore because NEA even help them handle import industrial wastes to Singapore (for proper disposal) from other Panasonic manufacturing plants in Southeast Asia.
