Reform Party Singapore is pleased to announce that Reform Party CEC after due process has unanimously approved the membership of Darren Soh, 46

Darren is a graduate with a degree in Business Administration from RMIT University ( Australia). He was previously a Finance Industry professional with Hong Leong Finance before changing to work in Real Estate management and is currently a manager for Propnex.

In addition to his background, qualifications and career experience Darren brings a high level of dedication to community service and serving the citizens on the ground. Prior to joining Reform party he served as a local CCMC member @ Ulu Pandan, which is part of Holland Bulit Timah GRC. He has held the positions of Assistant Treasurer in The Grassroots Club He has also assisted in the MPS Furthermore Darren has been awarded the 20 years Long Service award by PA for his commitment and dedication to community work.
In addition to bringing valuable grassroots experience to the Reform Party team, Darren is fluent in Mandarin as well as the Hokkien and Cantonese dialects and is able to communicate well with Chinese speaking and elderly residents on the ground.
On National issues Darren Soh is passionate about the CPF and Minimum Wage policies and has been speaking up for Singaporeans, inspired by his own humble background.

Darren grow up in Bukit Ho Swee in a one room flat where he spent the first 20 years of his life. He studied in the neighbourhood schools, first at Bukit Ho Swee Primary School and then Kim Seng Secondary School before serving NS and studying for his degree. Darren feels that coming from a low income family gives him an insight into and an empathy with the lives, struggles and aspirations of lower income households. Darren is married with one child.

Darren brings an impressive background in grassroots work, skills, education and life experience which along with his personal qualities make him a strong contender in the line-up for the Party’s team in West Coast GRC for GE2015. Reform Party knows him to be hard working, fully prepared and eager to serve the residents of West Coast. It is a pleasure to welcome him on board

Just say...a local sinkie who was not academically bright to attain a local degree but got a third rate Aus degree, failed to be a financial guru upon return, to eventually becoming a property agent and when things did not work out in that profession for him again, turned to become a estate maintenance agent instead.
