[h=1]AMOS YEE BACK IN REMAND AFTER BAILOR DISCHARGED HIMSELF[/h]
Post date:
30 Apr 2015 - 6:03pm

Amos Yee is back in remand today after his bailor discharged himself.
He had broken his bail conditions by posting several facebook updates this morning and 2 blog posts. (Amos Yee: My Abusive Father)
Amos seemed prepared to be "back in chains" for breaking his bail conditions, writing on his facebook today that he objected to the ridiculous bail conditions (Amos Yee Lashes out Against the Police and his Bail Conditions Online)
It is understood that his new bail has been set at $30,000 with the exact same bail conditions as before. Namely, Amos is not allowed to post anything online, is required to re-privatize his offending posts, and report to the police everyday at 9am.
He was in court today for a pre-trial conference this afternoon when a stranger punched him in the face while he was walking into court. (Amos Yee Punched in the Face Outside the Courthouse)
Yee refused to take down his newest online postings and he had earlier said that he was not remorseful.
It is understood that his bailor, Mr Vincent Law has discharged himself as bailor and a show cause hearing will be held to see if he is able to get back his bond.
In the meantime, Amos is back in remand until someone agrees to bail him out and be able to make Amos abide by his bail conditions.
Another day has been set on Monday for another pre-trial conference to set a trial day. It is understood that Amos wanted to claim trial.
