Wow ... even the rebuttal to being long winded is long winded !
I think Subok gets paid by the number of words he posts.

Just as you are paid to be a clown.

Suggest some ways for GMS to improve.
There is some time for him to become better in time for elections.
Go find another leader to take GMS under the latter's wing. GMS is the best possible lieutenant a Captain can find but not as a "captain".
GMS is an SAF commissioned Captain and allowed to use that title with his name officially if he wants to. GMS is also fairly and squarely elected Secretary-General of NSP. His last election record was 44% with WP at Aljunied GRC 2006. Many people off the grounds think it was mostly about Sylvia Lim. Half truth at best. Of the five candidates, Sylvia and GMS scored well above 44% in their zones, Tan Wui Hua about around average around there, Rahizan Mhd. and James Gomez well below, that's how the overall GRC result settled at 44%. That's no party secret or national. Both WP and PAP and others who bother to know know that.
Oppositions dun fight lah!
Work together to take over the gobble man!

now got nothing fight already, you can imagine the drama when combined oppo took over govt and it's time to divide the cabinet posts.
actually I think one of the strategy that oppositions should come out NOW even the actual election is to name their possible cabinet or mirror cabinet to give them a psychological edge in the voters mind especially those intending for a change will now be even determined.
sometimes "looking" prepared is more important than "being" prepared.
'name whole cabinet very hard even if whole oppo camp do 1 list, it's worth a try for a psychological edge - "wah, they are serious this time" maybe some important cabinet posts will do.
but the idea sound funny to me if oppositions only contest 60% of seats.
it would be a suicide mission for the opposition, dun think is a good ideaactually I think one of the strategies is that oppositions should come out NOW even the actual election is to name their possible cabinet or mirror cabinet to give them a psychological edge in the voters mind especially those intending for a change will now be even determined.

I had already pointed a few for him.
1. hang the "spokesman" of NSP effectively himself. He is not cut out to be a spokesman.
2. Go find Jackie Hoo as his election campaign manager. Of course I do not mean literally Jackie Hoo but someone in the persona and ability to help GMS better project himself publicly and positively.
3. Go find another leader to take GMS under the latter's wing. GMS is the best possible lieutenant a Captain can find but not as a "captain".
4. When all the above 3 are in order, hopefully, his main objective then is to serve the very people who voted for him and not for the money.

Busok and IP MAN-wannabe have raised a few good pointers.
GMS should build on his past "success" and heed the advice of Busok to glam himself up.
Politics is 80% presentation. The other 20%? Luck.
RP's economics really make some adults look like kids.
SDP's kids sound more adult than some adults.
NSP's speeches are impressive.
Before the rah-rah boys go around disturbing others, please learn to call yourselves an opposition party instead of alternative party. What alternatives?
- Total Withdrawal of FW Levies? Higher GST instead?
- Inflation is imported? Higher costs of living is inevitable?
- Minimum Wage will lead to market distortion?
- Without FW, nasi lemak will cost $9?
- Human rights advocacy cannot put food on table? The monks in Myanmar were protesting the lack of economic development?
Hello GMS, Why you like that, you loss the argument long in another nick to supportSubok is really long winded ....
