He also sad fellow, always a loser during GE.

I still though he stand some chance until I realized he is running for a GRC.

His post-elections statement are fair and quite level-headed. The people deserve the government they voted for. That's democracy at work.

When he's not talking about WP, GMS makes a lot of sense.

His views and feedback have confirmed one thing that is 100% correct: There are more stupid people in Sinkeepoo than clever people. The stupid are used as pawns by the MIW to milk from the clever.

Goh Meng Seng should just stick to being an armchair critic....oh because that job pays nothing.

He should understand that he is not credible in the eyes of most people. The process of growing an opposition party is rather systematic here. Changing party every few years is not the way.

Start with a SMC, do well, then move on from there. Those who think they can just grab one GRC is dreaming.

Even CSJ will lose in GRC, who is GMS.

When we look at opposition parties we see a mash-up of jokers from all walks of life. Only WP is slightly more respectable. The rest are like a bunch of society misfits.

Agree with you :) other than WP, SDP come second and the rest cannot make it :D

The one thing he and his sympathizers learned was that his over 40% in his first 2 elections was not his sole credit or hardly his credit.

it's very hard for GMS, a small unknown opposition party with little resources and contested last minute in CCK with no groundwork previously. GMS's comments were right and fair enough. I'm glad that the PPP contested CCK so that I had a chance to vote in my country's election.

BE CREDIBLE! Look at this clown.... she party hopping like its musical chairs.

How can u trust a clown who party hops like her?
2005: PKMS
2010: NSP
2013: DDP
2015: RP

Hope this is one lesson that the opposition learned. They have promoted themselves as democratic-minded by existing as 7 or 8 parties. Avoiding 3-corner fights mean that each can only field a handful and even if there is a change of government, it will be a coalition - something they want but not the voters.

Any suggestion to do otherwise would be met with scorn and people giving these suggestions labelled undemocratic. So, like what the PAP has suffered, if you do something that is not what people want, you won't expect to get votes from them.

problem is...............how many SMCs are there to contest ??!!.......only 13..........you'll get 4-5 corner fights in all of them liao...........

Opposition should do self-reflection. BE CREDIBLE. It's not about the quantity, but more on the quality. Do you want to have 10 Desmond Lim in parliament instead of 1 Chiam See Tong?

Never give up!

Anybody who gives up is a failure!

Fight On man! One day success will be yours!

Singaporeans always give up!

That is why few Singaporeans are famous!

You must have passions! It keeps you going!

No money just asks! God provides!

Other than that, enjoy the ride! Is fun isn't it?

Anyway Goh Meng Seng should not be upset about anything. He has always prided himself on being different from the rest of Singaporeans. Of course the votes you get will be different from how most Singaporeans vote.

If he wins, then it is contrasting.

Everything happens for a reason.

Instead of going around blaming others and feeling angry, GMS should find out why people voted for pap despite disagreeing with their policies. If not, he will likely repeat the same mistakes.

This is typically GMS, very straightforward and only politician who bothers to participate in this forum with his real identity. This one has to respect.

But he is not cut out to be a politician by being so straightforward with his feelings.

The only thing good about GMS participating in this GE is that we now know the hardcore opposition supporters stand at 23%. Not 30% as assumed in GE 2011.
