According to my 姑姑 who is a paralegal secretary in the top law firm, Goh Jin Hian and his team target is to delay the legal procedure and avoiding jail term during festive seasons.

Goh Jin Hian is mentally and physically prepared to check into Changi Hotel after lunar new year and check out before Chinese mid autumn festival.

During the jail time, Goh Jin Hian will come out with some excuses to have short hospital stay. He also has plans to go out from the jail once a while to attend his legal case with Inter Pacific Petroleum. All these tactics provide Goh Jin Hian with short despite from gruelling Changi Hotel vacation
