For security deposits of 13-16,000 per candidate, I am sure they will be able to come up with and collect back when it is over.

As for props and such, is there any way to break down the costs?

For a GRC, try count 400 polling agents (2 shifts) and 20 counting agents. About 50 sq. km. of posters and banners. Put up during election and bring down after election. Others don't count first, just count these first. PAP manpower average is about 2,000 per GRC team. For SMC, just divide by about 5.5. you can figure it out, I'm sure.

Posters must pay. Hire printers and contractors. Election agents are volunteers, no pay. But they also must be fed, volunteers also must be fed with proper meals and drinks. You think what, glucose?
