Giving away your old clothings; are you pantang about it ..

Ladies and Gentlemen,

One of the few NGO me and partners are supporting is Pattaya Orphanage. Do PM me if you have unwanted children clothings, toys, stationary or any kid stuff.

Last trip to Sinking Land, I did brought back 40 kg of kid stuff. Guess what? Many of the items even have the price tags on. :( Yeah, no joke, items are brand new and not worn before.

Shall Pm you shortly bro, after i gather all the stuffs from our neighbours..let me screen through them 1st as well.

I buy used branded jeans from Golden mile and JB for $2-$4, disinfect them with deltox and wear them with much pride:)

You mean to detox it with Dettol. What about people with fugal (skin) diseases who give away their clothing?

Comes each year's end, i am sure that's the time when spring cleaning for each's household starts.
Crux is, are you 'comfortable' about giving your used clothings to whichever charitable organisation
that comes a knocking on your doors; knowing jolly well they may be reused or recycled..
So what's at the back of your mind in the 1st place ?..are you not worried about seeing someone
on the road wearing that all-too-familiar Tees or Jeans ?..;)
1) Give to charity
2) Reused or recycled

You answering your own questions again? LOL

your question is more revealing than the answer. if a man is starving, do you worry about giving him some food in case you might bump into him again in future?

when i give my clothes away, I DO EXPECT someone to be wearing them. Isnt that the whole purpose? What are u pantang about???

The analogy bears no parallels. Partaking of food is not a visible exercise; wearing clothes is.

When I read the thread I would think its some pantang about voodoo concerns or some fengshui thingy about fortune or luck (sinkies mainstay).

Then TS goes on about seeing someone wearing familiar clothes....*scratch head*

just give away lah. why scared about pantang? unless you are giving away that lucky red underwear or something similar which brings you good luck?
