Germany: Muslima in Metro cursed and threatened as a prostitute by fellow pious muslims for not wearing a hijab

A woman was racially insulted in the subway in Berlin-Mitte on Sunday afternoon.

The 33-year-old got on the U8 at the Heinrich-Heine-Straße subway station at around 5:25 p.m.

There, an unknown man insulted her in Arabic as a prostitute. The perpetrator asked her in broken German why she wasn’t wearing a headscarf – according to the police, he was referring to Ramadan.

But that wasn’t all: he threatened to seriously injure her if he saw her again!

The man then got off at the Jannowitzbrücke subway station. The State Protection Police of the State Criminal Police Office is now investigating the incident.
