GE 2020: What The Electorate Said

I guarantee you if KJ was a resident of West Coast GRC, he would have voted for Ah Bock.................. despite their conflicts................:biggrin:

Some of them are stroke or chronic illness sufferers who are no longer mobile or lucid hence their family members did not bring them to vote...the others could be previous supporters of kj and rp (like me and laksa) hence decided not to vote for ah bock or white...many reasons but not all are bad or with bad intent

"For the PAP GE 2020 was a referendum on the 4G.

Singaporeans don’t want to have the next Prime Minister of Singapore chosen in a backroom and then foisted on them. GE 2020 was a way for Singaporeans to send key signals to the PAP about what they want and what they don’t.

Here is what Singaporeans are telling the PAP about the 4G.

It is difficult to see how Heng Swee Keat can take over as PM. Not with a 53.4% electoral margin in East Coast. There is no way to spin this. Singaporeans cannot confidently see our lives and the future of our country in Heng’s hands. This is a pity, because Heng is a fundamentally decent person who doesn’t come to politics with some of the worst instincts of PAP hardliners. He’s naturally a technocrat, not an attack dog."

Disagree. The support from the ground for 4G says otherwise.
I personally believe that HSK's below average performance in this 2020 GE is mainly caused by the CECA agreement, he managed to win marginally to be thanked to the ignorant PG and MG voters. In the next 5 & 10 years, more younger voters and lesser PG and MG voters, he would be bound to be voted out, if nothing to be done in the CECA agreement and significantly reducing the foreign PMET. Young and middle voters are very angry voters. Even CCS will be voted out with no exception.

The term NTUC is more associated with the supermarket than any union.

What union rubbish?
