driver most FAQ - can drive van back?
This one a definite yes. Used to employ van drivers.. all want to bring back van, and use on weekends to bonk their pinoy girlfriends
as i highlighted in my restaurant thread
singaporeans really poor attitude and want high pay
it is really very difficult for small retail business to hire Singaporeans. PRC, Burmese and in this case, Pinoy better
Really. You must be employer to understand. Alot of people her see from employee view and student view cos many here are teenagers, so i don'tblame them for their juvenike remarks cos they havent made own money yet and using father;s hard earned cash
definite yes?
you better think twice. If they are deal on the sideline on weekends and your company van is involved, it will be confiscated, minimum it will be impounded as evidence. So how many company vans you can afford to have impounded?
Definite yes that it'll be their FAQ, not yes to them
Obviously locals have not reached a pt whereby they are desperate enough yet.
employers hire whoever accepts the lower wages...
not just wages, ATTITUDE
the older folks are okay. it is the youngsters that really give headache
Yes, yes we must all be grateful for any job lah. However why shouldn't someone find out the terms & conditions of employment
Of course Sporeans must be calculative, they don't want to waste their time, time is money, travel distance is money,... You want to survive in Spore you got to be calculative
Why must Sporeans be "desperate" to take up employment What kind of mentality exists in Spore where employer & employees relationship is when one party gains at the expense of the other
The cascading effect has raised wages all around. .
Scroobal,
i think this is only restricted to the tertiary educated, white collar, middle income group.
i don't think the low income, blue collar wages has went up much. Assuming in last 5 yrs it has went up 10%, the overall prices increase in living cost overshadows whatever minute increment they got.
Yes, you are right but what you have is a middle and upper layer of salaried people whose wages are much higher.
........
To contain the wage spiral, the PM and the upper echelon has to drop their pay. Then they will realise that private properties and overall cost is just too high and they will do something about it.
at the expense of the other? Well, nobody is asking for them to work for free. They are still being paid wages, aren't they?
You want to point fingers? Point it at MIW. They are the ones who opened the flood gates for foreign workers, they are the ones who refused minimum wage, they are the ones who artificially suppressed wage rate in SG in order to attract FDI while at the same time doing nothing abt increase in cost of living.
and lastly, who voted the MIW in to continue exploiting them? 66% of s'poreans.
The Shit Times propagates that NTUC supermarkets are the biggest employer of local senior citizens. Recently
I noticed that they employ many PRCs doing unskilled jobs such as floor-sweepers, food-packers and cashiers.
WTF! NTUC is supposed to be our union and co-operative. This is the result of useless fuckers like Siah Sway and
pretty face Siah Luck who're too eager to show their bosses the huge profits at the end of every financial year!
dun count on it to happen.
how do you untangle the property prices in SG? It's gonna pissed practically everybody off? can they afford to do it? i dun think so.
