Sinkieland's biggest problem is the NTUC and the SAF selling the snake oil of 'tripartism' and 'operational readiness' respectively. The two greatest con jobs of the PAP regime. Everything else, every flaw and dissatisfaction you observe in the country, can be traced to these two things.
Ironically, but not surprisingly, the PAP loves to induct people from the NTUC and the SAF to bolster its ranks. These people usually get promoted quickly, and usually get the shortest path to becoming a full minister.
