"I could not help but marvel at her selfishness," says Joe Huang, after he came across this woman seated this way aboard a train.

The contributor expresses disgust in his email to STOMP on Jan 16, and said:

"Last week I came across this commuter in a west-bound train (see picture), I couldn't help but marvel at her selfishness.

"She is presumably a local because she was travelling west and seemed to know where she was going.

"This person occupied two priority seats even though quite a lot of people were standing in the carriage, especially after City Hall station.

"She totally ignored a tired-looking Indian man when he approached her and stood in front of her in the hope that he would get a seat.

"I don't believe she didn't know he was there. Because of her selfishness, the poor man had to squat.

"I can only hope that she represents the minority. What a disgrace she is to our society."

i see nothings wong with this girl base on the photo. cos the one squading at the door way who block the flow of passengers is an indian FT. so no need to give him the seat. the reason is that he is a FT.
