STOMPer Jeanette and her mum were terrified when a tall foreigner chased after their car on foot after they honked at him for jaywalking at the Great World City carpark.
Said the STOMPer:
"Just 12 hours ago, my mum and I had an awful experience going into the B3 carpark of Great World City at Kim Seng Road.
"A jaywalker (a tall 7-foot, big foreigner, in his early 30s), whom we almost knocked down and had to honk at to warn him of his dangerous act, got annoyed and chased our car all the way down to the B3 carpark of the shopping complex.
"He did not stop, but we remained calm and reversed the situation to our advantage.
"Not many people can remain calm, let alone think in a situation such as ours.
"We were lucky to have a fast moving vehicle at our disposal and for our protection.
"Yes, in his defence, he may have been annoyed for being honked at, but his behaviour should not be condoned, least of all in a modern country like Singapore where we are welcoming more foreigners to our shores.
"The police investigated this matter till 11pm last night, and the building's management has the CCTV footage of this incident.
"What if we didn't have a car?"
