this guy aside.

there is a bunch of ang mo cyclists who love to cycle down the right lane of orchard road. ive seen them a few times, always tell them use the left lane and get the finger.... many more incidents... reality is ALOT of foreign cyclists think they own the road, and make up their own rules in the country in which they are guests of...

Orchard Rd you can not keep left because there's lots of buses and taxis that will stop left!
Left side of the road is dangerous place to be in!

Is he cycling or riding a motorized bike?

He seems to be riding an electric/motorized bike because he could catch up with those drivers.

If it is a fully manual bike, I don't think he can catch up with those drivers, besides I think I hear 'motor' noise.

Calling himself "Singapore Cyclist" is confusing if he is not using a manual bike, he should call himself "Singapore Biker"

Most drivers tap on accelerator very lightly whenever petrol prices increase. Also local vehicles are mostly small capacity with lower horsepower.

Come next year, we can expect even more cars to be of low power rating. Cyclists can easily keep pace then.

The gahmen should step in and address this problem once and for all. We are living in a dictatorship. So want to solve this problem is damn easy. Just tat pappies dont want to offend their pets like fts and their dogs like teo ser fuck.

If they want to allow cycling. Revamp the rules n ensure cyclist adhere to it. Redesign the roads so there is a cycling path. If they cycle off the path. They are fully liable. If cyclist dont obey the rules n cycle 2 abreast. Charge them n throw them into jail as its a criminal offence.

Right now the rules are so grey cyclist can be assholes n get away with it. Like the FT.

If pap dont want to redesign the rules n road ways. Than banned them from cycling on roads. Restrict them to cycling only areas.

Actually the rules are quite clear: Cyclists are treated as motorists with some exceptions, like expressways.

The problem is that a lot of motorists do not understand or know those rules since the cycling population was very small in the past 20 years, to the extent that they believe the roads are exclusively their turf. Everybody else has to give way. With the number of cyclists exploding in the past 5 or so years it is logical that friction between motorists and cyclists will increase.

The government should educate more and tweak the rules along the way.
