I don't want to squeeze into a minivan. I arrive @ 10.45 pm and I want to go straight to my hotel. I don't want to be the last one in the mini van to be dropped off.

I fly to Hatyai instead of BKK. I take a break at Hatyai for a few nights, and from there I take a train to BKK.

Usually reach Hatyai airport in the afternoon,get a cab outside airport,go to Joyful Travel Agent to book hotel,then proceed to the hotel.

If not available,u can try to book Hatyai Garden Home Hotel (beside Hatyai Palace hotel). Inside Hatyai Garden Home hotel have restaurant,kiss music lounge and ancient massage . Chok dee !

I try to stay as near the railway station as possible. I believe Hatyai Palace is now Friendly Tel.
