由于鸡蛋花属夹竹桃科，所以鸡蛋花的汁液是有毒的，不过不用担心，花是没毒的，即使汁液有毒，也是一种微毒，养殖过程也不要太过在意（家里有小孩的三十而后养）。下面聊聊鸡蛋花怎么养！

1、光照

鸡蛋花是强阳性花卉，喜高温，日照越充足，生长越繁茂，且花多而香，除上盆或翻盆换土后需要荫蔽一周外，其余时间都宜置于阳光充足处。

2、温度

鸡蛋花耐寒性差，最适宜生长的温度为20-26℃，越冬期间长时间低于8℃易受冷害。所以在北方养殖的花友要提前移至室内或保暖的地方。

3、土壤

适宜鸡蛋花栽植的土壤以深厚肥沃、通透良好、富含有机质的酸性沙壤土为佳；这样生长的植株健壮，花量大，花色鲜艳。土壤瘠薄时鸡蛋花生长发育不良，花形小，花色暗淡。

4、浇水

鸡蛋花喜湿润，亦耐旱，但怕涝。因此浇水要适度，掌握不干不浇，见干即浇，浇必浇透，不可渍水的原则。春秋季间隔1日至2日见土干浇一次水，夏季晴天每日早上浇一次，傍晚如土干再浇一次，雨季要注意倒掉盆中积水，防烂根，冬季十天半月浇一次，保持盆土微润不干即可。

5、施肥

6-11月每隔10天左右给鸡蛋花施1次腐熟液肥，浓度控制在15%左右。南方鸡蛋花露地种植即可，北方盆栽宜在10月中下旬移入室内南窗处，注意通风见光。室温宜在10℃以上，低温和室内通风不良，会使植株落叶。
