She left at the ripe old age of 102 (see yesterday's obituary of the Shitty Times)! Poor Mr Seow! Can't even get a chance to say farewell to his beloved mother! How sad! :(

I find it very hard to sympathise with him. He has been gone for over 20 years now. His mother could have made the trip to JB when she was alive if he was inclined to meet her there. But when he was in the PAP inner circle, he was Con You's lap dog, doing the master's bidding to the best extend. Than had the falling out. U made your bed, u sleep in it.

Er... Francis Seow was not a member of the PAP. He was at one time the Solicitor General of Singapore, a job he excelled in. Yes, he did the bidding of the government, but that's what the state counsel is supposed to do. It's not the same as going into a political alliance.

What fantasy are you in? U think Con You would allow an appointment to such a high judicial position if the chap was not a hard core 100% loyal to him PAP guy? Con You and him were close at one time, and he did Con You's bidding with more than usual enthusiasm. I know many high ranking PAP people who are never publicly listed as PAP.

i think you are not having a fair view of him, please read his To Catch a Tartar book to know more what he has done to oppose LKY and gang..

I have read the book, and several members of my family know him personally. He is no choir boy. In fact, if you know him in real life, he is an asshole and holy terror in the office. Did I mention his mistress too? He wrote the book to get back at Con You for forcing him out of the country. While he was SG, he was the most enthusiastic supporter of Con You. He participated in many judicial kangaroo courts on Con You's enemies. Good for him to write the book, better than many who did not. But I have yet to hear an apology from him to all those people he whacked as a SG for the benefit of Con You.
