Me overthink the issue? In fact, I have to thank you for putting up Leongsam's post, as it concurs entirely with my view. Leongsam's approach is efficient and minimizes bias -- it places the emphasis on removing clear cases of spam and keeping discussion flowing, whatever the topic may be.
I am in full agreement with this, and am advocating a continuation of the approach. What some people are suggesting is for mods to take a more active role and going beyond housekeeping & maintenance. I don't agree with this. I think Leongsam's philosophy which has been tried and tested is the way to go.
