Former press photographer pleads guilty to molesting boys

KUALA LUMPUR: A former press photographer pleaded guilty to molesting three boys aged between 14 and 15 at a children’s home.
Chen Yu was sentenced to nine months jail by Magistrate Nor Azah Kasran at a magistrate’s court on Thursday after he entered a guilty plea to three counts of molesting the boys in June this year.
He was accused of committing the offence at about midnight in the living room of a children’s home at Jalan Klang Lama.
Chen, a former award-winning photographer with The Malay Mail, was also fined RM2,000 in default of three months jail for each charge.
