If she really want to study economics, should consider going to the US instead. The best economics departments are to be found in MIT, Chicago, Harvard, Princeton, Berkeley and Stanford. Down the pecking order are UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge and LSE.

Let us hope her Chinese is good enough for she has to study difficult concepts such as theory of revealed preference and turnpike theorem in the Chinese language.
