"She was handpicked by Miss Universe Singapore national director Valerie Lim. "

What was the selection criteria? Casting couch performance?

A decent Miss Singapore contestant? U guys dream on la. She’s born to Chinese parents in the Philippines. Haha

Born to Chinese parents in the Philippines, Ong moved to Singapore in 2004. She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and Filipino.

From Singapore, Ong moved to Australia where she took four jobs to self-fund her studies into a university in Melbourne. Aside from holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, she has also completed a culinary arts training.
