People say in old days, all families got 6 to 12 children, living standard not so high, each gave $50 a month to the parents oredi very rich man!

Now after the stop-at-two, high cost environment……how the single kids going to be filial right!

You think love your parents only tok cock only……you must show it….so to show it, you need money right !

PAP should shoulder some responsibilities of taking care the old and donch use filial piety to keep the taxpayers money for themselves !

Have you seen young girls and young boys taking care of old sick parents----please ask them how will their future like if the sick sits on the wheelchair for let say ---20 years…..no maids, just the young taking care !

Another thing….a young graduate just married , and an only child, needs to pay HDB 30 years loan…..have children , love the wife……the parents how? The PAP ask ? Balance the lifestyle ?

There is no cure unless you have more enough money, only money can solve this filial piety issue.

PAP and TV people live in te first world and got first world pay, it does not mean the local peasants live in the first world getting the first world pay.

National Service is a joke. It exploit men !

Wasting time .

It allows the State to skim on expenditure .
It makes the State of Singapore looks like it can manage the budget .
I am not saying men should not be in vigorous discipline .
But their children need to help in the family .
I am saying you should compensate the men enough in today's uncertain economy .

You can pay every man $1500 per month in Mindef . But you spend the money on YOG .
