What my brother told me:
There are a number of Foreigners, mostly Malaysians. But the majority are locals

FYI he works at the casino and they had a promotion for staff to enjoy facilities at the new hotels at a very low rate(something like $30+ a night) a week before it opened. He virtually spent the entire week there

Everywhere. But RW is hiring again. U might want to revisit this after their next recruitment exercise

The croupiers are mostly "head hunted" from the Phillipines. But the casino are not opened yet, so you may not see the impact of these Pinoys.
Yes, I had a chance to bunk over at HRC hotel at $38 per nite before the grand opening. Nothing to shout about. Not for the reported $400++ per nite. I might as well fly & accomodate at HRC Bali.
Not forgetting that Star cruises is also owned by Genting Group thus they can relocated some of their Pinoy & Msians staff over to RW.
Most of the key positions are given to Msian staff. I know this for a fact as Im acquainted to the FC & CFO of RW.

Why do we even need to wait and see if U are acquited with the "FC & CFO of RW" as U claimed. The place is partially opened. U can go see now!!!! And FYI their target for the casino opening is before CNY, oh wait I think U should know already, coz U freaking know the CFO.

At least someone bothers to read my post. Same brother(not the one between my legs). Yes, he got the job and rejected but got it a gain later(think I mentioned this before).

At first he wanted to wait for the Marina Sands job coz they were offering higher pay but RW wants his reply immediately coz they will be sending that batch to the Philippines for training. He rejected and waited for Sands instead but after waiting for a few weeks with no reply, he then contacted Resort World again for the same job.

They accepted however since he came in later he missed the trip to the Philippines. The training in Philippines was supposed to have taken place in Oct.

i think it will be like crazy horses after a few years. The gov will try to help at first, but they will let it die, singapore just do not have the number of tourists required to fill the tables and rooms.

Thats the whole point. Since last year SG and Swiss banks were "forced" to open up. need to find new ways for them to "wash" their money. Many of predicted the IR to fail, I say it will be a resounding success coz many will be here to make their money "clean"
