Female teens arrested for suspected motorcycle theft

SINGAPORE: An alert police officer who was on his way to work helped nab two female teenagers suspected of stealing a motorcycle.
The two teens, aged 17 and 19, were wanted in connection for the theft in the area of Yishun Street 22, after a police report was made on Wednesday.
At about 8.15am on Thursday, a police officer spotted the two suspects riding the stolen motorcycle along Upper Thomson Road.
He followed the suspects and stopped them at a junction before Mandai Road.
The suspects were arrested when more officers arrived.
