The horses become jobless too. Will they be flown to another country which appreciates horse racing, or be slaughtered here?

god knows, on paper they will say they will be send to others racing club or trained for other purpose.
but will not be surprised if.......the owner took the easier way out. this is all cost....

I think not much impact to horse betting uncles.
Ever since covid 19 lockdown, most of them already been betting online.
There is no difference with online betting for races holding in any country.

Too bad. Ever since Singapore Pool become monopoly, turf club got to close.
They found that no nees horse also can earn $$$ thru online platform , really cheaper, faster and better ROI

Jockey BQ already won the Jockey Championship just prior to the last race
( based on count-back) . He has more Seconds (2nd) than Nunes ...

i remember my teenage years was spent loitering at bukit timah turf club as an illegal runner, those were the days.....
highlight of the decade was when 3 horses all hit the line and all three finished first in a 1200m top class 1200m sprint back in the 80s......
Star Prince, Ribut and Pahang were the 3......was spectacular
the era of Jumbo Jet, Leslie khoo, SY Leong..
