从昨天晚上开始，这个新闻基本上席卷了所有国际媒体的头条。但是，关于日本航空自卫队这架为什么会坠毁？坠毁的真正致命因素是什么？这一系列问题成了事故发生后，人们关注的第二波热点。
而在F-35A目前最大的买家——日本，与F-35战机设计生产方——美国，这两个经常没事“秀亲密”的盟友之间，一场激烈的甩锅大战已经打响。

由于航空军事技术发展迅速，而且航空制造又是一个非常复杂和高难度的活，所以面对空中战机更新换代的需要，很多国家虽然都想拥有具备隐形技术、空中机动能力更强的第五代战斗机，但毕竟不是每个国家都有这个“金刚钻”。
最早拥有五代机的当然是美国，当年F-22“猛禽”战斗机横空出世的时候，各国只有羡慕的份儿。那些想买的美国盟友国家也就仅限于想一想，因为一方面美国说这是“非卖品”，另一方面也是因为价格太高，各国也心疼割肉。
之后，明知不可能通过“买”能过得五代机的中国、俄罗斯，只能靠自己的技术实力，逐渐发展出了自己的五代机。
日本、韩国这样的国家，一开始也想通过本国建造的方式发展五代机，但是做了几年后发现，这东西实在不好弄，研发还要投入大笔的经费，最后导致这些国家的五代机项目都处于拖延或者搁置的状态。
就在这时，美国于拿出了F-35战斗机方案，在盟友国家中宣布大家可以“众筹”，只要出钱就能获得先进的五代战机，而且价格比F-22便宜不少。于是，不少国家心动了，纷纷掏腰包参与众筹。
当时，日本是最积极的国家之一。
2018年底，日本内阁会议通过的《防卫计划大纲》和《中期防卫力整备计划》决定大量采购F-35A及衍生机型F-35B。日本政府决定未来部署共105架F-35A战机。按照2018年度的合同，每架购买价格约为116亿日元（约合人民币7亿元）。
除此之外，日本还打算可以垂直起降的F-35B战机，让自己的直升机航母变成真正的富有攻击作战能力的航母。
防卫省计划配备总计147架F-35，把A型作为老化的F-4战机的后续机型，F-15战机中难以改装的99架则将更换为A型或B型。
从这个数量看，日本是F-35战机除了美国之外，数一数二的海外买家。而且，由于中国歼-20的部署，一心对标中国的日本也是F-35战机部署速度最快的海外国家。
F-35A于2018年1月首次部署在三泽基地。之后还不时有新机加入，今年3月刚刚以12架战机与80人的规模新设了飞行队。截至9日，该基地部署了13架F-35A。
但是，一场突如其来的坠机让日本人杯具了。现有部署F-35A战机已经宣布停飞了，那接下来还是否引进F-35A战机？掏出去大把的钞票，买回来安全上有隐患的飞机，这个亏吃的有点大啊。

关于日本航空自卫队这架F-35A战机坠毁的原因，中国网友的答案是：局座的预言。

另外，今年1月底美国国防部还拟定了一份评估报告自爆“家丑”——美军及其盟友正在大量装备的F-35隐形战机，存在很多问题。不只造价方面超级昂贵，F-35的可靠性以及因此而引发的使用寿命过短问题都非常令人失望。

巧合的是，就在日本发生战斗机坠毁事件的同一天，负责向F-35A提供发动机的日本IHI公司接到了质量不合格的整改命令。
