Most of American war toys are junks, from M-16 to M1-A1 to Los Angeles subs to B2 bombers. F-15 is one of the worst example, only last year they were all grounded 100% regardless of new or old.

F-15 will be a permanent joke I call it FLY 1 GETS 2, or BUY 1 GETS 2. Since it break into 2 planes in the flight mid-air. Very amazing. One of a kind. Very few planes can do that. Really very few had done that. Not once but on multiple occasions.

The only few American war toys that I see beyond passing mark are C-130 for example. It is at least reliable and versatile.

What am I , your editor? Get your facts straight. The grounding was precautionary and applied more to the C models than to the E strike Eagle models. Temporary groundings are not rare, they happen all the time. The record of the plane speaks for itself. Look at the number of kills versus losses. The world is not stupid, like you. Many countries will not buy American weapons if they are no good, regardless of the political pressure.

The main thing I m showing here is the quality of the plane, but at the same time I cant deny that solid training and the quality of the polits are important too.

The Isreali Defence Force (Air) had shown in many battles against odds of their quality that even the Americans find themselves unable to match. I dont think we should take away that credit.

I have also made a claim that the A-10 is the only other plane that I know that is able to fly on even when it lost a wing. Will put up that info if I can find it.

Wah i wonder if many thinks F-15 is that bad, then they should look at F-16. F-16 is smaller(So should only be able to bring less firepower), took longer distance to land(Ever notice there's a parachute to reduce speed upon landing) so less versatile. I Also suppose there's less gadget in an F-16(only 1 pilot how to handle so many stuff).

Have seen how those ang mo handle their F-15, machiam like how those ah bengs drive their honda civic. Hard landing also no problem.

In this era maybe its one of the better ones liao, so live and let live ba.(But if they raise the gst to cover those planes then its a different liao)

Do not be surprise that Boeing is trying to get Singapore to buy this on top of the F-15SG we already bought.

By the way Cumeyes, the RSAF did not pre order the F-35. They paid for observer status. It does not mean in any way they are committed to buying it. That plane has many problems to iron out still.
