Excessive Migrant-worker accidents on road, is due to the driver, not vehicle

Recently, there are more accidents on the road, involving migrant-workers on lorries and now migrant worker rights groups in Singapore call for timeline to ban transporting workers in lorries https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/migrant-workers-lorries-safety-transport-accidents-3649826

The right-groups fail to identify the root of the issue. The problem is not the mode of transport, it's the drivers.
Almost all the drivers are foreign-workers. These workers are poor drivers and insufficiently trained. More likely, they got kopi licenses and converted to Sg driving license via a simple theory test for Class 3 (eg. Dyna or Cabstar). Commercial vehicle drivers may not even be from the company of the vehicle owner. Many companies are using each other's MOM quota to hire workers.

They are arguing back that worker is the issue. Company basically goes for the cheapest transport available to send their worker to and fro.
