Bochup attitude caused him his job, and forever don’t need to work in the security industry and a big fine…

I don't know the real story. If based on the title short description, I don't think the security has done anything wrong let alone a fine.

First, he is a security guard and obviously not from bomb disposal team so it is not his duty to determine if that is a real or fake bomb. It is best to assume it is a real bomb.

Secondly, wait there for wad fuck? To get kill sibo and then announced he is a hardworking person, kind and cheerful and he will live forever in our hearts bullshit sibo?

Fully agreed.
Spf should be fined for issuing fine to him.

君子不立危牆之下

From what I know, standard procedure for suspected bombs is to report and warn people to stay as far away from the bomb as possible

No doubt the security officer is not from a military bomb disposal unit, but his critical FIRST PRIORITY is for those whom he had been trained, paid & salary he agreed upon to protect & the organized methods/protocols to do so safely.

Running away at the 1st sign of danger to soley save himself is a dishonor to the contractual clause he had signed up for & the salary he had received over time under peaceful conditions, if not the morality.& professionalism of security forces...

He is paid pittance ...why should he sacrifice his life for this poor paying job?

The insignificant nobody me will ALWAYS remember the words of a Republic of India Special Forces soldier in the Mumbai Terrorist attack on Nov 2008, where one of our own blue blooded Singaporean - the late young & youthful Ms Loo Hoei Yen- whom sadly perished in that horrific terrorist attack.

That Republic of India Special Forces officer & his team managed to reach a group of hiding hostages, cowering & immobilized by fear & told them:- "Follow me & I will bring you all to safety. I will be in front of you all, & should ANY bullet be fired from the terrorists, it WILL have to GO THRU ME before reaching any of you"....

Such courage may seem extraordinary & even beyond any pay scale, but only Human....to save lives... His team managed to do so & lead many to safety out of the hotel.

Although the Mumbai Terrorist attack had been viewed with many differing perceptions, as it took days to clear out the terrorist teams, & the Republic of India Crisis team handling the situation had been put to much criticisms, one thing for sure was that the Republic of India Special Forces teams were lions, & perhaps led by monkeys....thus it took that long to resolve that situation...

Thanks for your query. Perhaps an analogy may lend better insights...

A farmer faced labor issues, as he had a bumper crop of apples to be harvested, so he went to cafe one morning where many youths were lounging around. He told them that any who will work from 8am to 5pm, will be paid $15/hr = $120. Some responded.

By 3pm, there were still many, many ripe apples to be plucked. So he approached another cafe where youths were still lounging around & told them to help out, & would be paid $120 to harvest the apples by 5pm. At least many more responded.

At 5pm, where the sky was darkening & no work can be done, as promised, he paid every one their honest & agreed upon share. However, those who started work at 8am complained loudly at the unfairness of the farmer who paid those who worked only a few hours, from 3pm to 5pm at $120.

The farmer's answer was - " I paid you upon the AGREED price that you agreed to work for the RESPONSIBILITIES that entails. No one was forced upon to work for me."....

When a bank cisco guard armed with fire arm run away during a bank robbery with the robbers having fire arms too , will the guard be fined or jailed?
The answer I got from a bank guard is that he will run away, even his job is to protect the bank

1. In Nations where possession of firearms by non security forces is a capital crime, a criminal would resort to using knives to threaten lives, & thus the rifle carried by a bank security guard is more of a deterrence against the knife welding criminal, as that criminal would face a low chance of survival against bullets, more so from a trained security guard.

2. In the event of desperate criminals armed with rifles, the security guard would have to assess the situation carefully, & should he face bigger odds to save lives, he can surrender & drop his weapon, practice what he had been trained - to calm everyone down, seek for dialogue with the criminals to buy time, etc, etc...far better than running away & abandoning Human lives that he had sworn to protect....

He is not Rambo. Even if he decides to open fire upon the criminals, there may be inadvertent cross fire battle that may harm innocents, the very lives that he was paid to protect.

Furthermore, in banks, the security guard is more of a 1st level deterrence. Each bank cashier has a 2nd level security button under their counters that is directly linked to National security agencies whom would arrive in minutes to take control of the situation, far better than the security guard alone.

In the end, the critical question is - what had the private enterprise security agencies taught/trained to their security guard employees in the event of dire circumstances?

Bugger was so lazy that he didn’t even call the police. Use brain la. Who will ask a security guard to remove a bomb? lol wanna kill the whole neighborhood instantly is it?

If he is a filthy Ceca, he will be regarded by the poodles as an amazing hero and lavishly rewarded with a cash prize of $1.8K and sinkie citizenship.

The security guy is to deter to any robbery. And his life remains top priority. If he dies, no more deterrent.
Unfortunately, banks nowadays are robbed from the inside.
